- This tells us that Montresor is mad at Fortunato because he made his name look bad and he always gets revenge.
- Climax
- I forget your arms.
- A huge human foot, in a field azure; the foot crushes a serpent rampant whose fangs are imbedded in the heel.
- Montresor realizes that Fortunato's weakness is fine wine so he comes up with a plan to get revenge.
- Falling Action
- Hahaha, you can let me go now. The jokes over.
- Montresor takes Fortunato down the stairs, meanwhile Fortunato is drinking away, little does he know whats about to happen.
- Resolution
- Ahhh! I'm going to die in here.
- That was kind of the point.
- Montresor tells Fortunato what his family crest meant. Montresor sees that Fortunato is drunk, so he decides its time to finish his plan.
- Montresor starts to handcuff him to the wall and build a wall of bricks in front of him. Fortunato sees what is going on, and thinks he is joking.
- As the alcohol starts to ware of, Fortunato realizes that he isn't kidding and hes going to die.
