- Big brother, how do bills become laws?
- Well lil sis bills are just ideas that go through a very long process in order to become a law
- A bill is requested by the people and is then sent to a congressman. In which a bill is made
- What happens after that big brother?
- Congressman then argue and debate in a committee to decide if the bill dies or not.
- If the bill is debated favorably it goes on to The House of Representatives and vote on the bill
- If the bill is in favor in The House of Representatives it is then sent to the Senate which is then voted upon once again
- If the bill is in favor from both the House of Reps & the Senate it is then sent to the president to be signed or VETOed
- If the bill is VETOed it is then sent back to congress and the process starts over.
- That lil sis is how a bill becomes a law
