- Pineda went to go sail off to map the Gulf of Mexico around the coast. Became the first European to see the Texas Coast. Some of his companions were arrested and he was not able to complete the mission.
- Reasons of Exploration
- Coronado went to go look for the Golden city but did not find it but did locate the Grand Canyon and Pacific Ocean but they never found the Golden city.
- Cortes
- Cabeza de Vaca and his crew got caught into a hurricane on the way back to Mexico and got shipwrecked on where he met The Karankawas. They were nice to Cabeza and gave him and his crew shelter and food. He wanted to be friendly to the Karankawas so he used some of his abilities to be able to heal the sick.
- La Salle
- Let us sail off!!
- Gold, Glory, and God are important to most people because they wanted wealth, wanted to be honored, and they wanted to spread Christianity to everyone by making missions.
- Gold,Glory,and God are what we need to spread and earn
- Cortes was viewed as a god to the Aztec than the Aztec helped Cortes battle and won. They were allowed to get an area of mainland and to be able to explore the South and North america .
- We have defeated the Aztec
- La Salle went on a mission but unfortunately lost 2 boats. When La Salle was trying to be nice to the local Indians when his boat landed it didn't work out, The colony actually died because of drought and disease.
