- I chose this scene because I think it showed a time when Odysseus used his power and heroism to mess with people. Odysseus played tricks on the Cyclones because he thought they were dumb and did not agree with the way that they lived. He pulled tricks on him because he was above them and thought that because he was above them and greater he could use that to mess with innocent people.
- I chose this scene because it was when Odysseus met the Lotus Eaters. They had told him to stay away from the Lotus plant because it was highly addictive and would make the crew forget home and their dreams. Three men ended up eating the plant and changing. Odysseus had to be the hero in this theme and save the rest of his crew from eating the harmful plant.
- I chose this scene because when Odysseus was at sea Zeus sent a huge storm his way. I think this scene is important because it shows for once that Odysseus is not the biggest hero out there, it shows that he has someone above him. He was then saved by a goddess which shows that sometimes heroes need help too and can't do everything themselfs.
