The Cruel Prince
Storyboard Tekst
- Three young girls (twin sisters 7 years old and a 9 year old sister) are taken by a man they don't know, but he is the father to oldest one but she never knew him. He murders their mother and her husband who is the father of the twins. He takes the three girls back to to Fairie with him. The twins are now 17 and this man marries another woman and has a son.
- The twins, Jude and Taryn, go to lessons with other peers from the families of fairie King's court. They get bullied and tormented by the arrogant prince, Cardan, and a group of his friends. Madoc, the father, has taught Jude combat and military strategy. She thinks becoming a knight will protect her because she and her twin were humans growing up in a magical land and are looked down on for their mortality.
- The King of Fairie says he is stepping down from his throne. He will choose one of his children to take over. Jude wants to be in an upcoming tournament to show she can be a candidate but Madoc doesn't feel she is ready. She does well and is asked to become a spy for the King's son. She agrees and finds out her sister has been keeping a secret about marrying one of the fairies Jude dislikes. She distances herself and becomes close with Locke and starts a secret relationship.
- Madoc and another man named Balekin are working together. At the coronation, Balekin murders his whole family, but he spares Cardan in a bid for the throne. The crown has to be put on a head by a blood relative. So Balekin cannot yet claim the throne.
- Jude fights Taryn in a sword duel and then it's stopped. Jude is in her stepmom's room and finds a mechanized golden acorn that gives her a message. Jude and Cardan work together to gain allegiances and she tells him that she wants him to crown a boy named Oak and have him grow up in the mortal world rather than being raised by Madoc.
- At the banquet, Oak crowns Cardan and Jude hopes that Cardan's kingship will protect Oak. Oak ends up living in the mortal world and Jude lives in Cardan's palace to take advantage of her short lived power over him. She wants to stay in Fairie no matter what her mortal status is so she can pave the way for Oak's ascension to the throne.
