- The Aeneid begins after the fall of troy. Juno hated the Trojans, she convinced Aeolus, the Keeper of the Winds, to send them off course with a storm. Off the coast of Libya, where Carthage was being built, they were wrecked.
- Hey Dad!
- Sorry....
- Dido and Aeneas met in Carthage. He told her about Apollo telling him to live in the country of his forebears, which he understood to imply Crete, and about the Trojan horse. But the Gods told him in a dream that Italy was really his actual home. Aeneas met numerous creatures along the route, including Scylla and Charybdis.
- Dido said that he and his men were going to stay in Carthage after assuming that he and Aeneas were married after spending some time together in a cave. Aeneas wanted to stay, but he had to go in to find Italy. Dido was heartbroken by this, so she threw herself over a funeral pyre and took her own life with a sword. Aeneas don't care so he continue to go Italy,
- THE END.
- Anchises asked Aeneas to go in a vison to the underworld after he and the Trojans landed in Sicily. He saw Dido there and apologized to her for breaking her heart, but she chose to ignore him. When he later got back together with his father, he showed him what would eventually happen to his offspring.
- The king of the Latins, or Latinus, offered marriage to Aeneas with his daughter, Lavinia. When he first arrived in Italy, Lavinia was already engaged to a warlord by the name of Turnus.
- Aeneas and Turnus are having a fight, one of the companions of Aeneas', which is Pallas, was killed, which caused Aeneas to go on a killing rampage (much like Patroclus and Achilles). Turnus was ultimately slain in a single battle.
