I HAVE SO MUCH MONEY NOW!!

In the Parable of the Prodigal Son, Jesus expresses the Lord's forgiveness and love. This is shown through the three characters; a father and his two sons.

Following this story, we follow the Christian values of forgiveness as an act of acknowledgement. Although we understand and accept what has happened, we never forget any sins committed, but to focus on love and care for the future.

After some time outside the life of his family, the younger son returns home to his forgiving and everloving father. There, they hold a feast to welcome his son back into the family, disregarding the son's past financial decisions.

On the contrary, the older son finds this very confusing and hurtful, being a loyal and respectful son between the two. Although the father understands this, he teaches his older son that forgiveness is a strong value, and that with his son's arrival, love outweighs any monetary wealth.

Having grown older, the younger son of the father requests a handsome payment, venturing out to later spend it on unwise things.

The Parable of the Prodigal Son displays a large act of forgiveness, defined through "overlooking past transgressions". To forgive does not necessarily mean to forget, but to rather move forward and create a better life between both groups.

In our lives, we find areas of forgiveness occasionally. From small to large, we must choose the right decision of compassion and forgiveness. Like the Parable of the Prodigal Son, the father represented forgiveness towards his son.

Forgiveness can be presented in many ways. We can share our thoughts with others, talking and acting rightfully. We can also express our emotions to better understand certain situations.
