  • "...That which have made them have made them bold...That death and nature do contend about them whether they live or die."
  • "One cried "God bless us" and "Amen" the other, As they had seen me with these hangman's hands, List'ning their fear. I couldn't say "Amen" When they did say "God bless us.""
  • "Consider it not so deeply.

  • Macbeth was hallucinating and imagined someone woke up, said "murder" & woke up someone else since he was feeling so guilty.
  • "Will all great Neptune's ocean was this blood and Clean from my hand? No, this my hand will rather The multitudinous seas incarnadine, Making the green one red."
  • "I hear a knocking at the south entry. Retire we to our chamber. A little water clears us of this deed. How easy is it, then! Your constancy Hath you left it unattended. [Knock.] Hark, more knocking. Get on your nightgown, lest occasion call us And show us to be watchers. Be not lost so poorly in your thoughts."
  • Macbeth: The thoughts make me feel like someone who murders innocent people (makes me feel very guilty).Lady Macbeth: Don't think about it since you already commiitted the act since it will make you full of regret.
  • Lady Macbeth: Why do you someone worthy get so guilty. Just wash your hands and wash away the guilt. Also why did you bring the daggers here go take them back and smear them on the guards.Macbeth: No I am afraid to look at King Duncan's dead body.
  • Lady Macbeth: I hear knocking. Let's go to our bedroom and put on our nightgowns and predend to be asleep. Stop thinking about this so poorly.Macbeth: Will all of the ocean wash the blood away from my hand? No, my hand would actually no be cleaned and rather turn the whole ocean red.(also refers to guilt not just blood.)
