- When they get to the currency tree, it is all red and giving off heat. Johnny goes to touch the tree but it almost burns his hand.
- Falling Action
- Johnny and Aidan enter the cave. The front room is super small but they see a set of stairs and decide to go down them. At the bottom they find an old man.
- Falling Action
- The boys realize he can’t see them but he doesn’t seem scary so they say, “It’s Johnny and Aidan from the town next to here. It was raining outside and we came into your shack to dry off.”
- Resolution
- Edward says, “Yes, go to the second shelf to the right of the fireplace and grab the book titled Currency Tree and open it to page 268. It has step-by-step instructions to fix the currency tree and stop the rain.”
- Johnny and Aidan run out of the shack and head back to the currency tree. The instructions tell them to look for a little opening at the side of the tree. They find the box and open it. Inside they see a bunch of wires and notice one wire burnt all the way through because it got so hot.
- When the light goes away, the boys find themselves on the ground. They look up and the rain is gone, the water is gone, and the tree is gone.
