- An angry couple wrote to Congress to complain about single people going out on Valentine's Day, stating that Congress must develop a bill that only allows people in a relationship to go out during that holiday. They mentioned that there wasn't enough space in a restaurant for them to eat, as a consequence of single people occupying all the tables.
- Fellow representatives, we must make Valentine's Day great again!
- Luckily, the bill was approved by the majority of the Representatives and was capable of passing to the Senate. If most of the representatives had disagreed with the bill, it would have needed to be revised and proposed again during a second voting round.
- Proposed Bill: Single people should not be able to go out of their house during Valentine's Day since they often ruin the experience of those in a relationship. Valentine's Day is meant to be a holiday for couples not for single people.
- The senators were motivated by the speech of the speaker and decided to support the proposed Bill. Hence, the Bill is now going to be reviewed by the president.
- Proposed Bill: Ban single people from going out of their houses during Valentine's Day
- Fellow senators, I might be old, but I'm still capable of recognizing a great opportunity when I see it. We must ban single people from going out during Valentine's Day, they are the reason why Valentine's Day is no longer the same. We must make Valentine's Day great again!
