My cousin is coming to visit, and my Mom wants me to empty out my overstuffed closet so she can put her clothes in there. Trouble is, my closet is stuffed to the brim! How many boxes will I need to hold everything in my closet?

- Aunt Betsy and Cousin Mimi are going to be here at 2 o'clock, and I want to make sure there is room for Mimi's stuff in your closet...

- How will I do that? It will take me FOREVER, and she'll be here in 4 hours!
- You're right, she is coming soon. We have to dump everything in as few boxes as possible, right now. Let's use math to figure this out.
- Your closet is a disaster! Cousin Mimi won't have space for her clothes when she visits! It's all going in boxes in the basement. ASAP!
- I measured your closet once. It's 3 feet deep, 4 feet wide, and 8 feet high. That means the volume of your closet is 96 cubic feet.
