- yo dude I need some help bad! I forgot how to do our Human Environment Interaction homework. Could I get you to help me after school?
- Oh modify means to change something like if I modified my hair style. Adapt means to learn and get used to a certain change like if a new species had to adapt to a new environment.
- Yea! no problem dude, I got you. meet me after school, but one question for ya man. What does modify and adapt mean?

- Thnx dude! I really appreciate it. So on my home work I have to define explain how our environment has to depend on humans to survive. For example if we had a hurricane our forest would be in a state of deforestation, but since we are here we can save the environment.
- Another Question was how our environment is suffering from Hurricanes such as El NINO which is when a hurricane happens on water.
- So on your homework, you should show how Tsunamis Kill life and even start new life. Its like how humans must adapt to our agriculture.

- EXACTLY!!! so after you say that, you can show how our forest suffers from from all of these events and how anal life along with humans must adapt and modify the environment to sustain our life and agriculture .

- no problem man! I really don't mind. Come over when you need to but remember this for the test for tomorrow. The environment relies on species to adapt whenever the environment modifies itself.
- One more thing, slash and burn is when we burn agriculture to make roof for more seed and new plants for production.
