- I didn't mean nothing, Slim I jus' ast you.
- Well, you been askin' too often. I'm gettin' goddamn sick of it.
- Why don't you tell her to stay to hell home where she belongs?
- You keep out of this less you want ta step outside
- In this scene Slim gets mad at Curley for asking about Curleys wife constantly. Curley started off nice about it but then got frusturated about all the comments that were said about his wife.
- Whats so funny?
- Get him Lennie!
- Carlson gets involved and tells Curley what he thinks should be done about his wife. Curley is in a shock that people are talking about his wife the way they did.
- Curley threatens Carlson after talking about his wife. He threatens to fight Carlson outside if he keeps it up. Calrson then doesn't say more about his wife.
- Let him go Lennie!
- Curley walks around the room looking for someone to punch. Curley sees lennie laughing and strikes him in the face.
- Lennie decides to fight back with his power,with george telling lennie to fight back. Lennie doesn't hold back his anger. George and Crooks watch as the fight goes on.
- Lennie grabs Curleys fist, and starts to break his bones. George yells at Lennie to let him go! Lennie doesn't listen and continues to break Curleys hand.
