- Hey Fortunato you look well. I have recieved an Amontillado. Would you like to see it is in the catacombs .
- Exposition: I was having a great time at the carnival and Montressor came up to me and said he had a pipe of Amontillado. I was excited to see if it was true so I followed him.
- Amontillado! Amontillado!Amontillado!Yes I would like to go
- Rising Action: We have reached the catacombs and he starts to comment on my cough as a way of stalling and keeping me away from the Amontillado I assume. So I tell him I am ok and we commence forth.
- That seems like a bad cough you have should we turn around?
- No we shouldn't. Don't worry about my cough. I will not die from a cough.
- I have a medoc to protect us from the dampness and mold that is deeper in the catacombs.
- Rising Action: Montressor brings out a little medoc and says it will protects us from the mold and dampness from inside the catacombs
- Oh yes thank you. This should also help me with my cough .
- Climax: When we got to where we were going and Montressor starts to chain me up. At first I didn't notice and then I thought this must be some kind of joke. But he said nothing back.
- HAHA! Funny joke Montressor!
- Falling action/Resolution: As he filled the walls up with bricks the lights got darker and darker. I felt weaker and weaker as time passed and then I...
- Resolution: Nobody disturbed my grave for half a century.
