- The Call
- I need to get home, It has been so long.
- Journey: Calypso's Island
- Thank you! You can stay with me.
- ...But you can't leave
- You are so beautiful.
- Helper: Calypso
- Zeus has asked you to release Odysseus.
- Fine, I will release him and give him a raft to travel with.
- Thank you! I will be on my way now.
- The call is when Odysseus is called to try to return back to his kingdom and get his back life to normal.
- The Unhealable Wound
- Come with me to go see the king.
- This is part of the journey because Odysseus decides to stop and "hang out" with calypso and when he finally wants to leave after a couple of years Calypso does not let him leave and holds him as a prisoner.
- Journey: The King
- Please tell me why you are here.
- I am here because I am trying to get back to my kingdom in Ithaca and have had a difficult journey because I ran into a few obstacles like...
- After Calypso finally released Odysseus after being asked by Athena and Zeus she gives him a raft to go back on.
- The Return
- FIGHT!!!
- This is one example of the unhealable wound because while he was on his way back home his raft gets destroyed by a storm Poseidon created which made his longer even longer yet.
- Ok.
- When Odysseus got invited into the kingdom he went up to the king and explained why he was there and started off by telling the king about his very long journey.
- This was one of the times when many of Odysseus's men ended up dying during the Trojan war. A lot of Odysseus's men died during this time and all of his men end up dying during the rest of the journey.
