- Hey Naveah we got a letter from our friend she asked us to tell her how to properly care for her hair.

- Another tip is to let your hair air dry. You dont always need to use heat tools and dont use the hot tools on wet hair. If you use to much heat on your hair you could cause heat damage
- The first thing that you should do is wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner. Here is a tip, you dont need to wash your hair everyday but you do need to wash it regularly
- Another tip is to have your hair trimmed to get rid of dead ends.
- Now im gonna tell you about white flakes in your hair called dandruff. Dandruff is the flaking off of dead skin cells from the scalp. It is not dangerous and you cant spread it to another person. Using a dandruff shampoo may help reduce dandruff.
- One last thing that im going to tell you about are these small bugs called lice. I know they are scary right?small bugs in your hair!

- Ok I have 5 things that can help you the first one is a prescription medicated shampoo or cream that can be used to kill lice eggs. The next one is to use a fine toothed comb to remove lice and eggs. The third one is to wash your sheets and clothing in hot water. The fourth one is items that cant be washed should be placed in air tight bags for a minimum of three days. The last tip that I have is to soak your hair ties, brushes and combs in rubbing alcohol or medicated shampoo for an hour. You could also wash them in hot water or just throw them out
- Ok so lice are these tiny insects that can get in your hair they cannot fly but they can crawl. They are easily spread from close personal contact like sharing your hairbrush with someone or sharing your hat and they cause itching. Pets cannot spread lice and if a person has lice it does not mean that a person is dirty or has poor personal hygiene
