- This is novel is heart felt and touching. I think I wanted to talk about infertility !

- That's so interesting and educational I'm sure you'll find something Maryam.
- I think I've narrowed down on my research paper. I want to talk about infertility! but I can't find any articles on what I want to specifically talk about, maybe I should make my topic more broad.
- Isn't infertility just when you can't have babies, how are you going to go in depth about it?
- Maryam's Fixed Mindset
- Maybe this is going to be harder than I thought. So many people think infertility is just not having babies.
- Maryam was assigned to find a graphic novel that would introduce a research topic. She was intrigued when she found a story of the infertility journey of a young couple, Waves. She knew a broad description, but wanted to learn more.
- All You Need Is A Little Guidance
- Hi mom. I'm having such a hard time with this research paper, I don't want to do it anymore. There's no articles that help me, I just want to change my idea completely.
- After reading her novel she was so excited to tell her friends about what her topic might be, until one of her friends asked her a question that eventually led her down the rabbit hole of infertility. The problem arose when she could only find articles that didn't give enough feedback on the mental struggles women faced.
- Maryam's Growth Mindset
- Maryam reflected back on her conversations with her friends as she headed home from school. After only finding certain articles she began to doubt herself and wanted to change her topic completely. She wanted to find an easier topic or just make her paper on the broad description of infertility.
- On The Waves Of Emotion
- Once she arrived home she expressed her concerns to her mom. It was too late to change her topic since they worked on it all day in class, she just wanted to give up. Her mom helped give her a new perspective and guided her in the right direction. All Maryam needed was to look at her challenges from a different angle.
- Hi darling. It's okay, you just have to try to look at from a different perspective. Ask for help at school if you don't understand. Use the resources you have add it in to create the exact paper you are looking for. You can do it!!
- That night Maryam got back to work. She analyzed all of her information that she had gathered and found some of the information that one article was lacking the other one had an abundance of and vise versa. She was ready to concur this paper. She ended up finishing that night and loved the end result. Maryam couldn't wait to tell her friends in the morning.
- Mom is right, I can just use what I have a create the research paper that gives all different perspectives and specific information.
- That morning Maryam was on a high. She was so happy at how her paper came out and told her friends about everything she learned along the way. She couldn't have been prouder of herself and all the hard-work she put in.
- Hey guys !! I'm so happy I finally finished my paper and it came out better that I could've imagined. There is so much information and it wasn't that difficult once I set my mind to it and put all my information out.
- We're so happy for you. I'm glad all of our papers came out the way we wanted !!
