- Jenny has always been on top of her bills, and has a great credit score, but Tim is quite the opposite. Jenny decides to give him some information of the way to the library
- Jenny, I was hoping you would be able to fill me in on all of this credit information. I have recently gotten declined for a loan, and my credit score is awful!
- A few more questions... First, what goes into a credit score?
- Have you checked your credit report in a while... there may be some errors found on it that you could dispute, which would then help your credit score, so you can end up getting a loan
- So negative items can come off of your credit report?
- Absolutely!!
- A lot of people look at your credit report! When you want a loan, the lender will look at it, when you want a job, your employer looks at it... This is why you must check it for errors
- Well, how come these credit reports are so important? Do people even look at them?
- It is something you will want to work on considering the highest/best credit score you can get is an 850
- There are 5 main factors that go into your credit score.. 1)New credit, 2) Payment History, 3) Amounts Owed, 4) Credit Mix, 5) Length of History
- Is my credit score of 550 bad?
