- Good morning students! Today we are going to learn about the Circulatory system. Does anyone know the organs that make up the circulatory system?
- Yes! The organs are the heart and blood vessels. Which are the arteries, capillaries and veins.
- Good job! The circulatory system transports nutrients and oxygen to cells and then removes the waste. Who knows the functions of the heart?
- Me too! The veins carry the blood which has little oxygen in it back up to the heart to be re-oxygenated.
- I do! The heart pumps both the oxygenated blood and deoxygenated blood to the body.
- Same! The arteries take oxygenated blood away from the heart to the body.
- Very good! Now lets talk about the features of the circulatory system. One feature is the blood which moves the waste, nutrients, oxygen and carbon dioxide to the cells.
- Another feature is the two pumps in the heart. One pump takes deoxygenated blood to the lungs and the other pump takes the oxygenated blood to all the other organs. Somebody guess the next feature.Made By Garv Pahwa 7th D
