- Anne explains her dream to Mr. Frank. He gives her a pill and tells her to take it. Mr. Frank asks Anne if she wants him to read for him, but she says no and tells him to stay and wait instead. Anne and Mr. Frank are talking to each other about how she acted and how she only loves her father.
- Oh, Pim. I dreamed that they came to get us! The Green Police! They broke down the door and grabbed me and started to drag me out the way they did Jopie.
- What is it?
- Something to quiet you.
- I want you to take this pill.
- Anne tells Mr. Frank how her mother and her have nothing in common and how her mother doesn't understand her. Mr. Frank tells her that she should love her mom too. Anne tells Mr. Frank about how she does bad things, and she tells herself she will never do it again. Anne also says she has a nicer side, but she is scared to show it.
- We have nothing in common. She doesn't understand me. Whenever I try to explain my views on life to her she asks me if I'm constipated.
- You hurt her very much just now. She's crying. She's in there crying.
- Anne is talking about how she thinks she acts and then slowly starts to fall asleep. As Anne falls asleep, Mr. Frank watches her for a moment and then turns off the light as he is leaving.
