- Paul was with Barnabas in Antioch which is now Turkey. When the holy spirt tells him to set off on his first journey in 46 ad.

- From Antioch they traveled down to Seleucia to sail over to Cyprus.
- When they arrived in Salamis, they went and preached the word of God in the Jewish Synagogues. John was there as their helper.
- They three guys traveled through the whole island before they came to Paphos. They meet Elymas who was and sorcerer. He tryed to turn to turn there faith from God. Paul filled with the holy spirt looked at him and said, “You are a child of the devil and an enemy of everything that is right! You are full of all kinds of deceit and trickery. Will you never stop perverting the right ways of the Lord?" Acts 13:10. Then after this darknees came over Elymas and he was amazed by the teaching of God.
- From Paphos they sailed Perga in Pamphlia, but John left to return to Jersalem.
- Once they got off the boat they sent down to Pisidian Antioch. On the Sabbath they went to the Synagogue.
