- Gods promised, childless man , called Abraham that he would be the father of many descendants' promised them that they would have a land of there own and will bless the whole world through them. god said I will bless them how ever blesses you and I will curse them if they have cursed you.Abraham and Sarah had a son call Issac. Issac had a son called Jacob.

- god gave them the 10 commandments.unfortunately, thee Israelite were never very good at obeying god, because they were still people with sinful human natures, They were still waiting for God to deal with this problem of sin once of all.

- Abraham did not have many descendants but in Egypt there were lots of slavery in Egpyt. Moses ran them out of Iresal to a better space.
- Exile
- The cycle for rejecting god goes on for centuries. The book of judges is full of quite graphic stories of violence and murder as people rejecting living gods way.
