- god redirected Paul and Silas to Greece to bring the gospel to Europe. the missionary team was beaten and imprisoned but rejoicing to suffer for Christ. they sang songs to Christ while imprisoned. God caused an earthquake to open the jail doors and free them from their chains. the prison guard was amazed and told his family and they believed in God. eventually they preached in mars hill to an audience. he built churches and helped others to believe in God.
- Paul continued to preach and God confirmed Paul's preaching's through miracles. we are told that Paul helped to revive a young man who was sitting in an upstairs window sill and went to sleep. the man fell out of the window and was believed to be dead. Paul revived him and the testimony of the miracle was written
- Paul knew he was going to be imprisoned and probably killed. His final words to the church at Ephesus show hid devotion to Christ. " you know how I always lived among you from the first day that I came to Asia serving the lord with all humility and with many tears and trials which befell me through the plots of the Jews. I did not keep declaring what was beneficial to you and teaching you publicly and from house to house testifying both hews and Greeks of repentance toward god and of faith in our lord Jesus Christ. now compelled by the spirit I am going to Jerusalem not knowing what will befall me there except that the holy spirit testifies to me in every city that imprisonment and afflictions await me. but none of these things await me. but none of these things deter me."
