- When Moses was born, his mother hid him for 3 months. Eventually when she couldn't hide Moses no longer...
- His birth mother put him in a papyrus basket and sent him down river.
- After some time, the Pharaoh's daughter found Moses. She had one of her servants raise him in the palace.
- When Moses grew the servant brung the child to the Pharaoh's daughter. She named him Moses since she "drew him from water".
- When he was fully-grown, he saw a Egyptian hitting a Hebrew. One of his own kind. He killed the Egyptian and fled the city.
- After he fled the city, God told him to go to the "Burning Bush".
