- The scene starts with Boy Willie me Lymon driving to Doaker house in a truck full of watermelons.Boy Willie and Lymon show up at Doaker house with a truck full of watermelons in hop es of selling them all. Boy Willie and Lymon enters up stage center, waiting on Doaker to open the door.

- Boy Willie crosses downstage right to the piano. Lymon and Doaker cross to sit on the couch.

- Doaker enters from his bedroom, he crosses UPC to answer the door. Boy Willie and Lymon enters the house crossing DSR to the living room.

- Bernice enters from the stairs and cross to center stage
- Boy Willie turns to Bernice to say hi. Bernice cross DSR. The living room . Doaker and Lymon are still sitting on the couch.
- Bernice cross upstage to exit to the stairs and Boy Willie follows her crossing upstage center to talk to her about Maratha. Bernice then exit upstairs.
