Storyboard Tekst

  • Hey man, wassup! What’s your assignment for today?
  • Our teacher said that we will advertise pieces of information about scientists who contributed things to EM Waves. Though I can’t remember who are those and what things they contributed.
  • Don’t worry bud, I got you. First, let’s talk about Hans Christian Oersted.
  • Hans in 1820, is a Danish physicist and chemist. During the class demonstration, Oersted investigated that a current carrying wire caused to magnetized by a compass needle to deflect and create magnetic fields.
  • I have more for you. This ain’t finish fo. Next is Andre Marie Ampere
  • OH! I remember this one! In 1821 a French physicist found that there were wires carrying current. He demonstrated the magnetic effect based on the direction of the current. Ampere’s theory is called electrodynamics.
  • DAMN PAUL YOU GETTING GOOD AT THIS. Okay here’s another one.
  • Faraday was an English scientist who contributed to the study of electromagnetism and electrochemistry. Twelve years after the discovery. Faraday (1831) conducted an induction experiment showing the effect of currents on magnets.
  • Last is Hertz. In 1885, Hertz, a German physicist, demonstrated that the electromagnetic waves performed by Maxwell exist. He showed evidence of electromagnetic waves and links them to light.
  • The discovery of electromagnetic waves led to the development of the radio. In recognition of his contributions, his name was used as an SI unit for wave frequency which is equivalent to cycle/second, ort he unit is hertz (Hz).
  • WOW! This is a lot of info I got. Thanks, homie, you’ve been a big help for me.
  • No prob, homie. Now let’s go get some snacks.
