- Hi lil fish, it is amazing to see you live in water all the time! How do you survive??
- Hmm..is it so? Please elaborate.
- 4.We have scales on our bodies.5.Our fins and tails help us to steer in water6.Our steamlined body shape help us to swim
- Oh! its fairly easy for us as we have different adaptations which help us to survive in this aquatic habitat!
- 1. We havegills to breath underwater.2.Wecan't survive out of water.3.We lay a lot of eggs
- Gulls eat fish, squid, shellfishand mussels even bugs, worms and rubbish!
- We are light weight due to the hollow bones and hence we are able to take off and then our wings and feathers help us to fly.But to be able to stay in the air for a long period of time, we havea natural diet of carbohydrates and protein that gives us high energy.A seagull mostly lives near the ocean.
- Now, tell me about yourself. How do birds manage to fly?
- Oh no... FISH!!!
- Oh! Is that so???So how do you get this highprotein diet?
