- Are you just going to ignore me? That very rude, I asked what your name was!!
- Hi I'mJose, don't mind her she usually has a short temper. Are you ok ?

- Ok clearly you need to learn manners. When you're ready to be respectful, please see me at my desk. If you do not come talk to me by the end of the day, I will write you up!
- Jessica (the new student) has just been placed in Ms. Estrada's class. Jessica is a transfer student from Cuba. She speaks little to no English.
- Ms. Estrada had already asked Jessica what her name was and Jessica did not respond. Ms. Estrada thinks Jessica is being rude, but really Jessicacan not understand almost any word she is saying to her. Ms. Estrada is mad and Jessica is overwhelmed and upset.
- Jose over hears the conversation with Ms. Estrada and see how Jessica is reacting so he steps in to ask if she is ok. Jose quickly realizes that Jessica cannot speak English .Definition 1- QUE meaning what??
