- Matt Miller's father had been drinking and got hit by a car on his way home. Scared and confused, matt frantically rushed to the hospital to see him. When he got there, he was informed that his father has multiple leg fractures, a few cracked ribs, and a fracture in his jaw.
- Matt had attended a few funerals now including his mothers, but the funeral of Nancy Knight was different. This funeral had required him to carry her casket, which was scary as he had never done it before. The nerves built up, but he ended up doing good with the help of others.#160;
- Matt's mothers funeral was extremely hard on him as he felt like he was alone in it. He didn't#160;feel like he had any support and he knew that nobody understood what he was going through. Hearing the comments that other people made about his mom really hurt him during this time.
