- Jordan River Anderson was a young boy from theNorway House Cree NationinManitobawho was full time living in the hospital with a rare genetic disorder
- There was other kids that also has the rare genetic disorder. They tried to go to the hospitals and schools but they weren'tgetting the same treatment as the Canadian children were getting and this is because they were from the reservation and they were first peoples. When theNorway House Cree Nationpeople found this out they were not happy about it and they wentto the courts for change.
- There were multiplecourt attempts and when they settled on a decisionit wasn'tthe one theNorway House Cree Nationpeople wanted. Two lawyers then offered to represent the first nations people and get what they want. the court day came and they battled in the end theNorway House Cree Nationpeople won and they got the education and medical that they needed and wanted.
- In the end all theNorway House Cree Nationpeople wherehappy becausethey got the schooling and medial needs they wanted and now there isthe establishment of the newJordan's Principlearound equity of access to health and social services forFirst Nationschildren.
