- Talent Show!
- Hey Hey Hey! Come by to see our talented friends preform! It is not to late to sign up. There will be singing, acting, dancing and MORE!Talent show starts at Saturday 6p.m in the school auditorium.

- Alrighty guys! Everyone knows about the talent show. I expect most of you guys to join. Please come to me if you want to sign up.
- Friday Afternoon

- It was the middle of the school year, we had to participate in some school activities. As for me, I don’t think I am ready. So many people had come up and texted me about The Talent Show that is in 4 days. Maria was scared to perform, she hasn’t perform in front of more than 2 people. There were ads and flyers everywhere! Kristen, Maria’s best friend, hoped for her to feel guilty for missing an opportunity like this one again. Kristen said, “Come on Mar, this might be your only chance to face your fear.” Maria was hesitant from the look on her face. She doesn’t have the bravery to perform.“Kristen doesn’t understand,” Maria thought.
- Thursday After School
- *singing*
- “3 more days left Maria. If you won’t sign up, I’ll sign up for you!’’ Kristen whispered as the teacher was talking. Maria thought about it. “Maybe it is a good opportunity, I mean it would make Krissy happy.”Class was over and Maria went up to the teacher, Ms.Jones. “Oh Hello Dear, do you want to sign up?”“Uhm y-yes actually..” Maria said shyly. “Well hun, just write your name here and we will see you on Saturday!” She smiled.Maria nervously wrote her name down and caught up with Kristen and headed home.
- Saturday Evening
- Maria worked hard on her song writing. Humming a tune as she writes down lyrics to it. She worked hard non-stop. Everywhere she goes she brings paper and pencil with her. It was Friday she finished the song and practiced. Maria sang as Kristen listened. Kristen screamed, “OH MY MAR, IT’S AN AMAZING SONG.” “Awwe Thanks Tin,” Maria chuckled.*BUZZZZ*Their phone rang, they got a strange text.“Attention All Students please be aware that there are some unusual activity going around. PLEASE BE AWARE that are are some threats going around nation wide.”Maria and Kristen read in shocked not knowing what to do.
- Saturday Night
- After school they went to their favorite spot and relaxed. As they were relaxing Kristen reminded Maria of what she was going to do for the show. Maria was stumped; she didn't know whether to dance, sing or do an act, so they practiced. They both did everything to see what was better for Maria. After trying out dancing and doing different kinds of acts, they decided to just stick with singing. “Okay, so you are going to sing, Maria, what song are you going to choose?” “I-I am not sure, should I do a cover or original?”“Well I heard some of your originals I think you should do that”Maria got picked up and went home. She could not decide what original song she wanted to sing. So instead of choosing a song she wrote a long time ago, she is going to sing a song that she wrote today.
- I think you should sing!
- TODAY’S THE DAY LOVE, WAKEY WAKEY!” mother shouted.Maria is still concerned about the text but remember what Kristen said, “Hey do not worry about it, it could be a prank, just forget about it and remember you are about to perform for everyone. School passed by quickly, first she was just having pancakes. Next thing she knew schools were over and it was almost time for her to perform. At the school, getting ready for the show , they made sure to check everyone’s bag, for safety. Maria continues practicing her song as she puts on a red dress with black heels and puts her hair up. The show went on smoothly with Kristen in the front row with Maria’s family and Maria watching the other performances from the side. But something did not go as planned as someone was dancing on stage. Maria noticed a black figure coming from behind. She ran onto the stage, the black figure was aiming, “BOOM BOOM BOOM” Maria and a few others dropped. “Is this part of the act?” a teacher ask“Not at all” Polices’ dashed inside and everyone collapsed to the floor. The sirens alarmed as they got to the hospital.

- It was 7 p.m. when the ambulance arrived to the hospital with Maria in it. They did whatever they needed to get her back to give her award. Doctors had failed everyone watching and Maria. Maria’s friends and family buried her the next day knowing she died a hero. Now Maria Gina Lorenzeno is a hero for taking the stand for everyone in the showcase. Everyone went to school and the intercom went on “Although she did not even want to perform she did an amazing job and was supposed to be our winner. We honor Maria Gina Lorenzeno today for her bravery. We are thankful and love you for everything.”
