- The golden touch legend book summary.If you don’t know the main character in this story/myth/legend is king Midas.What he wanted was a wish to turn everything into gold.But the fairy said are you sure you want this wish you may regret it so are you sure?The king said yes I’m sure.So the little fairy boy gave him that wish and he said next morning you will have the golden touch and the king said ok.Then in the morning it was true!He did have the golden touch and he touched something like his bed curtains and it turned into gold.Then in the morning he had a lot of breakfast food to eat.His daughter Marigold came in crying and normally his daughter is the most happiest child in the world and then the king asked what’s wrong?Then Marigold showed him her flower and it was turned into gold and she didn’t like that.Then the king started crying after a while and then his daughter Marigold felt bad for him and she ran up to him to comfort him and hugged him and then Midas kissed Marigolds forehead and she turned into gold and he was sad even more.Then t he fairy boy was there and was I’d I told you be careful for what you wish for.Then king Midas got instructions to help his daughter Marigold and he had to go a special water and then he got it and then he told the king to pour it on Marigold.Then he did a lot of times and then his daughter wasn’t gold any more!But the king kept putting the water on Marigold and she was like what are you doing with her not knowing she was turned to gold and the king was happy when he saw her daughter fine.The End.
