- Holden starts failing so his history Mr. Spencer explains what he did wrong with his work, shows him why he failed half his classes. Holden doesn't like him but decided to hear him out. He gives him a pep talk that he can do better and shouldn't give up easily.

- Holden stays in a Hotel in NY; the elevator man gets mad at holden and punches his stomach because he didn't pay the woman he sent to hook up with Holden. So he steals the money and leaves holden hurt.

- yeah, I'm stealing the money she asked for.
- Holden gets expelled from Pency because of his grades. He decides it's time for him to just go and leave Pency because he's tired of it. So he decides to go to NY.
- I think it's time for me leave, I'm going to NY. There's no point of staying here.
- You left our fencing equipment in the train, you're out!
- Holden forgets his team's equipment in the train, he was in charge of it as the manager. Holden now is kicked out the team and is failing half of his classes.

- Holden feels sad and depressed so he sneaks to his sisters room and visits her and tells her what happened to him. She get really mad and said with him because she cares about him.
- Holden why would you leave, you know dad will get mad.
- He won't find out Phoebe, don't be mad at me.
- Holden has been in the mental hospital the whole time, telling us the story of how he ended up in this place. He misses everyone who was in his life.
- Yeah maybe I do miss them.
