  • Act One, Scene Two
  • Beware the Ides of March!
  • Act Two, Scene One
  • Shall I entreat a word?
  • Act Three, Scene One
  • Et tu, Brutus?
  • This scene is important since it is the beginning of Caesar's fall in the play. The soothsayer foreshadows how something terrible will happen on the Ides of March which Caesar scoffs at.This is important since it is the warning of Caesar's death later in the play even though Caesar does not believe the warning. It also begins to spark the rebellion of Cassius and the other conspirators.
  • Act Four, Scene Three
  • Thou shalt see me at Philippi.
  • This scene is where the conspirators finally join together to discuss their plan to kill Caesar. It is also the scene where Brutus joins the conspirators in their plan. These events are important since the readers find out the plan to kill Caesar and how the conspirators finally joined together. This will later lead to Caesar's death.
  • Act Five, Scene Five
  • In Act Three, Caesar is finally killed by the conspirators. This scene is extremely important due to it causing the rest of the book's events. This scene leads to the outrage of Antony and Rome's citizens plus the rise of Antony and Octavius's rule.Lastly, this event also leads to Brutus and Cassius's deaths.
  • Theme
  • Revenge! About! Seek! Burn! Fire! Kill! Slay!
  • In Act Four, Brutus is visited by Caesar's ghost the night before their fight with Antony and Octavius. This scene is important because it foreshadows Brutus's death in the fight. This scene is also important because it helps convince Brutus to fight Antony in Philippi plus it warns him that he may die. Lastly, this scene also helps Brutus reflect on his decision to kill Caesar.
  • Finally, at the end of the story, Brutus and Cassius are killed. These deaths are very important due to their triumph over Caesar has overall led to their deaths. This also makes way for Antony and Octavius to rule over Rome with the conspirator's opposition. This will also provide way for other rulers to soon take over plus it will soon lead to the fall of Rome.
  • This was the noblest Roman of them all..
  • I believe the theme for this story is "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer." I believe this due to the conspirators being close to Caesar then planning to kill him without Caesar suspecting them.Another example is after Caesar is killed and Antony finds out who killed him. After finding out, Antony swears revenge and puts on a kind act for the conspirators in order to secretly convince the townsfolk to turn on the conspirators.
