- Willy's job affects his mental health. In fact, he saw and talk to his brother whereas he is dead. Willy was left by his brother while he died in Africa when the play begins. At moment of great stress or doubt, he talk with him and his brother give him advices.

- All along the story, we know that Willy treat Lydia badly while all her life,she is very caring and supportive with her husband. Since Biff discover the truth about his father, he is always aggressive to Willy and protect his mother by pushing her to react and by understand that she doesn't deserve this.
- After being fired, Willy asked his neighbor Charley to give him 50 $ because he need that money to live. Charley refused but propose him a job. But for Willy it's inacceptable and ashamed. He said that he doesn't need any pitty from anyone.

- Willy died during a car crash. It was actually a suicied. He wrecks his car and kill himself to leave his family 20 000 $ insurance money. He commited suiced because he realised that his life is nothing more than emptiness
