- Mrs. Maloney finds out her husband wants to divorce her, she goes down to the basement freezer to get a leg of lamb for supper. When she goes up again she her anger takes control of her and she swings the frozen leg of lamb as hard as she can on the back of his head and he falls dead on the floor.

- she calmly goes up to to her room touched up her make up and acts like everything is ok, and rehearses how she will act when she calles the police about her dead husband

- before the police arrive she puts the frozen lamb in the oven to cook, The police arrive to the house and search for any clues in the house of what could have killed him, they said that it seems that he has been hit by a metal club but cant find anything like metal stick.

- Mrs. Maloney offers the police the leg of lamb that was supposed to be for her husband, they resist but end up helping them selfs to the lamb, not knowing that the evidence that they are look for is right under their nose. Mrs. Maloney giggles from the other room having gotten away with the murder
