- His fame led to the fire because he left to go on tour with Jenny Lind. He kissed Jenny which led to Charity leaving him.
- This helped Barnum learn that he can let the fame overtake him and he has to focus on what is important in his life.
- The circus is a great example and symbol of diversity. It's a very good symbol and something people should take to heart.
