- This is Malala and she was always told to speak up for her beliefs. She grew up in Pakistan and loved going to school. As she grew up, she realized that not everything is as it seems. During the year 2001, the terrorist group, The Taliban, rose to power and made a rule that woman could NOT attend school.

- The Taliban began bombing Swat Valley, where Malala grew up and other places were bombed too. Malala and other residents of Swat Valley were forced to leave, but then Malala and her family went back 3 months later.
- Falling Action

- The Taliban return. Girls are once again prohibited from attending school. Malala begins to give speeches to stand up for her beliefs. The Taliban threaten to kill Malala through the Internet.
- Resolution
- I am Malala.... and every girl deserves an education!
- Malala was shot in the head by the Taliban at age 14 along with her two other friends. Malala was shot for standing up against the Taliban.
- The bullet paralyzed the left side of Malala's face. Malala was first sent to a hospital at Peshawar, but then she was transferred to a hospital at Birmingham.
- Where am I? What's going on?
- Malala now lives in Birmingham with her family. She continued to give speeches on her beliefs and won a noble peace prize. She also fully recovered from her injury.
