- No, I should get them. I am super hungry.
- Guys, I'm the oldest so I should get them.
- How about we split the brownies. Since Sammi is the youngest she gets 3, and Ryan is the middle child so he gets 2 and Michael gets 1 because he's the oldest.
- But mom, there is still one brownie on the plate. Who gets that one?
- The last brownie is for whoever finishes all their chores first!
- Sammi, Michael, and Ryan all came down for a snack. They all looked at the plate of freshly baked brownies sitting on the table. "I want the brownies!" said Sammi "No, I should get them. I am super hungry." Ryan said. "Guys I'm the oldest so I should get them." Michael explained.
- MOM!! That's not fair! I only have one brownie AND I have the most chores.
- Well you better get them done fast if you really want the last brownie
- As the three continued to complain the mom decided to help out. "How about we split the brownies. Since Sammi is the youngest she gets 3, and Ryan is the middle child so he gets 2 and Michael gets 1 because he's the oldest." Sammi thought this was fair but the bothers didn't like it.
- I am really mad at mom. I don't think its fair. We should fight to get it. May the strongest win!
- Ok I guess, I have toy swords in my room we can use those.
- As they received their plates of brownies Ryan realized there was still one more left, "But mom, there is still one brownie on the plate. Who gets that one?" he asked. Their mom said, "The last brownie is for whoever finishes their chores first.
- Oh my gosh! What on earth are you guys doing?

- Michael found this very unfair. "MOM!! That's not fair! I only have one brownie AND I have the most chores." The mom was no help and said "Well you better get them done fast if you really want the last brownie."
- Michael had an idea so he called his siblings up into his room. "I am really mad at mom. I don't think its fair. We should fight to get it. May the strongest win!" Michael complained. "Ok I guess, I have toy swords in my room we can use those." Ryan said.
- When their dad walked in the door and saw them fighting he was shocked, "Oh my gosh! What on earth are you guys doing?" Their dad said. Michal explained the whole situation, "We all wanted brownies but mom said cause I'm the oldest I only get 1 and there was one left so mom said whoever finishes their chores first gets it but that's not fair because I have the most chores." Their dad really didn't think it was fair so he decided to do something about it. "Ok, I Napoleon Bonaparte also known as your dad, declare no matter the age everyone gets the same amount of brownies!"
