- Takes place on Maple Street, USA in late summer at night. On the street outside peoples houses and porches. Characters: Steve, Charlie, Tommy, Pete, and Sally.
- Climax
- The people see what they think is a meteor and then the power goes off. Everybody trys to figure out who is an alien and in the process accusing people randomly on random evidence to try and figure it out. Everyone starts fighting and can't stop blaming each other.
- Falling Action
- Tommy tells everyone that what is happening to them right now is just like his comic book. He tells them that in the book there is an alien family sent ahead to make sure everything is right for the rest of the aliens. This causes everyone to turn on each other.
- Resolution
- While everyone is arguing Steve and Charlie are having there own fight. Don then comes over promting an argument over who should have the shotgun. Charlie takes it out of Steve's hands and then sees a figue in the mist and shoots at it. It is revealed to be Pete Van Horn.
- People start accusing each other left and right to try and find the alien family and start providing evidence that could make sense. All the lights start flickering on and off randomly in houses. Everyone doesn't know who it is and there is chaos.
- Figure One and Figure Two come into the story and talk about how this is what it will be like all over the world and humans will always fight amongst themselves like this and will eventually destroy themselves.
