- While Connie and Eddie were walking out to his car, Connie’s eyes couldn’t help but notice the things around her, and happened to make eye contact with a face that was not too far from her own.

- While sitting in her house, Connie was alarmed by the noise of a car entering her driveway so she peaked through the window. Noticing it was the same gold convertible from the night, she walked into the kitchen feeling frightened and locked the door.

- Seeing that it was also the same man from the other night, she went outside and he grinned as he started speaking to Connie. She showed that she wanted nothing to do with him and repeated that she had no clue who he was.

She tried to lock the door, but Arnold was able to follow her inside. Connie was terrified and tried to grab the telephone to call the police.
- Shut up! You're crazy!
- Connie woke up weak and could finally hear again. She heard Arnold telling her to put the phone away and obeyed him out of terror. He said, "We'll go out to a nice field.” At this moment, Connie knew she was trapped and could do nothing about it.
