- me, my wife, and our child have migrated from a nearby rural area to here: Mumbai. we thought we could have a better life, more opportunities, but instead, we now live in this squatter settlement. We were better off from where we came from.
- the water in Mumbai is so polluted. My daughter got sick because of it. We can't seem to find a doctor available and it's so hard to see our little one suffer like this

- me and my friends work at this Cola factory 24/7. Our wages are very low although we work so hard!
- we were poor in the first place, I could hardly feed my 6 children, and then to make matters worse, we were robbed yesterday. Our very last riches were all stolen away. Im not sure what to do next!
- the city is way too overcrowded! I can't even get groceries sometimes. Unless if I wake up very early. So to get away from all the buzzing of the city, I spend most of my time here.
