- Slim is the voice of the ranch. He is a natural born leader. Everyone is a little intimidated by him. He is also very handsome.

- WHERE IS MY WIFE SLIM?
- Curly, and Curly's wife are always loosing each other on the ranch. They never know where each other are. They have only been married for a short amount of time, and they are already arguing.
- Why would I know where you wife is?
- Candy offers George and Lennie half of the money they need to buy the property they want
- I have $300 in the bank, and are getting $50 more in a month, so how about we live the dream together?
- It was supposed to be just me and Lennie
- Curly walks in mad because he can't find his wife. So, he beats up Lennie, but Lennie gets off the ground and starts to crush Curly's hand
