- Chona which is the main character in the story had an excruciating circumstances that made her into a loving, caring, selfless, strong and independent woman. In this story you will have the epiphany on how to be grateful and appreciate the people who is in a way or another give you the untiring support in life.
- She faced a lot of struggles specially when the time that she gave birth to her son Dodong. He was premature that causes a severe complication that made him blind. The thought that he was alive is more than what she wished for.
- How did she moved on?
- Few months had pass by, Boyet, the love of her life had diagnosed with a Tumor on his Sigmoid Colon which gave him critical sufferings . He was on suicidal phase, bed ridden and felt depress so he summoned his wife to kill him by giving him a lot of sleeping pills. This is how Chona has been tested on how strong she is holistically, she had the dilema. How can you dare to kill the person that you treasure the most?

- It's the decision that puts her into a complicated situation that even worsen her agony. She Did not listen to him and let the fate dictate the situation. She'd rather see him died in the bed than in his own hands. Two months later, her husband pass away and that begins her tormenting sitches .
- Women are indomitable. No matter how life toss them hurricanes they still manage to appreciate looking for the rainbow above the horizon. The journey is not easy but they got to shake their body and just hang with the diverse emotions that they feel. They may weak and sensitive as a banana stem as a they seem but in terms of fighting about the battles in life they will transform into a strong and powerful oak tree.
