- Chau created the Earth and created people, the Mapuches
- From the sky, Chau watched over his creations and gave them light during the day.
- During the night, Kushe takes care of the creatures on Earth.
- This is Chau() and His wife(), Kushe
- Chau's sons began to question his rule and soon decided to overthrow his power in plans to rule earth. When Chau fond out , he became so angry he threw his two sons down to Earth.
- Chau's wife was heartbroken and cried great floods of tears which created lakes. Chau felt sorry for his wife so he created a serpent called Kai-Kai Filu out of the fallen bodies of his two sons. But Kai-Kai Filu stilll had the rebelious souls of Chau's sons and from time to time would bash his tail against the ground causing Earthquakes. So Chau created another Sepent, Tren Tren to watch over Kai Kai Filu.
- Tren-Tren heard Chau talking to Kai-Kai Filu and decided to warn the people
- One day, Chau came down to Earth to teach the Maupuches about how to preserve food and tell time and gave them the gift of fire. Many years had passed since then and the Maupuches had forgotten the man whom had given such gifts and forgotten all of Chau's teachings. This made Chau angry. Chau wanted to scare the people so they'd remember their creator and live the right way again so her asked Kai-Kai Filu for help.
- Unfortunately his efforts were useless and most of the Maupuche population died except for a man and woman who were raised by a vixen . From these two people came a new population of the Mapuche people which Chau was satisfied with his new race but he stopping caring for his people but he stopped caring for them which left the population to struggle .
