- Two couples were on top of a hill, leisurely dancing beneath the night sky. Willow and Zares stood there watching the sun rise.

- A year has gone by, and each have attended different colleges and acquired new friends. Willow then began making up excuses to avoid meeting Zares a few days prior.
- Falling Action
- My love for you isn't gone, Zares. It just ended.
- People can only see colors if someone is in love with them. Willow gradually falls out of love with Zares, and he realizes that the colors beheld in front of him weren't as vivid as they used to be.
- Resolution
- You just painted my skies gray, that is all.
- Zares was in denial, trying to convince himself that this was not happening. He wanted to ask Willow why, but he couldn't because he was shaking and crying. He pondered why anyone would make them see how life was intended to be vibrant, only to take it all away once they'd adapted to their enticing existence.
- Willow was scared and guilty, and a tear fell from her eye as she turned her head. Zares's thoughts were clear to her. After all, they were the most familiar with one another.

- Zares struggled to accept that all of the colors had vanished and that everything had returned to black and white. He asked for one last dance, and their bodies moved in perfect silence as the sun arose; his gaze was fixated on the sky. Holding on for one last time.
