  • It is my soul that calls upon my name. How silver-sweet sound lovers’ tongues by night,Like softest music to attending ears.
  • Hist, Romeo, hist! O, for a falc’ner’s voice To lure this tassel-gentle back again! Bondage is hoarse and may not speak aloud, Else would I tear the cave where Echo lies And make her airy tongue more hoarse than mine With repetition of “My Romeo!”
  • My dear.
  • By the hour of nine.
  • Romeo.
  • What o’clock tomorrow Shall I send to thee?
  • Let me stand here till thou remember it
  • I will not fail. ’Tis twenty year till then. I have forgot why I did call thee back.
  • Juliet re-enters her balcony calling for Romeo to stop walking away and come back. This happens after they say goodnight.
  • And I’ll still stay, to have thee still forget,Forgetting any other home but this.
  • I shall forget, to have thee still stand there,Rememb’ring how I love thy company.
  • Juliet asks Romeo what hour she should send for him to hear the news if they will be wed. Romeo responds to send for him at 9am as he should have his answer from Friar Lawrence if he will marry them by that hour.
  • I would I were thy bird.
  • ’Tis almost morning. I would have thee gone, And yet no farther than a wanton’s bird, That lets it hop a little from his hand, Like a poor prisoner in his twisted gyves, And with a silken thread plucks it back again, So loving-jealous of his liberty.
  • Juliet tells romeo she will not fail and send for him at the right time in the morning. She also expressed that she forgot why she called Romeo back. Romeo tells her that he will stay until she can remember.
  • Sweet, so would I. Yet I should kill thee with much cherishing. Good night, good night. Parting is such sweet sorrow That I shall say “Good night” till it be morrow.
  • Sleep dwell upon thine eyes, peace in thy breast. Would I were sleep and peace so sweet to rest. Hence will I to my ghostly friar’s close cell, His help to crave, and my dear hap to tell.
  • Juliet ultimately forgets her reason for calling him back but says she remembers how much she loves his company. Romeo still stays below her balcony suggesting that she can forget any other home but this meaning the home with him.
  • Juliet tells Romeo it is close to morning and that he should be gone but yet go no further than a wanton's bird. she means she needs him to go but not too far away and Romeo agrees.
  • Juliet is finally saying goodnight to romeo and sending him off to the Friar. Romeo tells Juliet to have a peaceful nights rest and that he will be off to the Friar's cell. He craves the Friars help and he will return to Juliet with the Friars word.
