- It is unavoidable that we will encounter obstacles throughout our lives, but the real challenge is how wewill develop and learn from facing them. This story is about my journey to one of the biggest change in my life. My life, in particular, has been full of exhausting ups and downs. It felt like I was on a never-ending roller coaster ofchallenges.
- The adversity I faced was about two years ago. It was when I was goingto leave the country where I grew up. When I was a kid, I was born in the Philippines but grew up in Saudi Arabia. I live with my whole family there andstudied there until I graduated High School. When I was about to become a Senior high school student, I have to study in the Philippines as there was no Senior high in Saudi Arabia before.
- It was very hard for me to accept that I will be staying in thePhilippines for good to continue my studies. I felt sad since I will be leavingmy friends in that country and will be staying in an environment where it wasnew to me. During my first days staying in the Philippines, I had a very hardtime adjusting and feeling comfortable with the environment. There were manychanges I have to deal with like my daily routine, my surroundings, the foods Ieat, the transportations I use, and the places I need to be familiar with.
