- scene 1
- Frenchie and his brother Mitch are enjoying a bag of Doritos in the treehouse. Mitch popped the bag open too loud and it attracted recruiters(Truancy officers). So Mitch tells Frenchie to hide up in the pine tree above the treehouse, while he goes to distract the recruiters. Frenchie had to watch as the recruiters dragged Mitch away into a van.
- scene 2
- As Frenchie and his family are packing to leave the apartment they live in, in the city. And Frenchie's Dad explains to him that they are going to go north to find other people and eventually make a home there.
- scene 3
- Frenchie, Mitch and their Mom are going to exit the city in the morning. But their mom says she is going to “forage” one last time in the morning at the old visitors center. Frenchie and Mitch try to convince her not to go because it its a hotspot for recruiters. This is also how their mother went missing.
- Frenchi , his mom and Mitch are leaving the city. But their mother says she is going to do one last “forage at the ol friendship center, but Mitch and Frenchie try totell her not to go because its a hotspot for the recruiters
