- Meet Cinderella, who lived very happily with her parents. She went to a good school and had many friends. Her parents showered her with love and care.
- As time went by, when Cindy was 14, she lost her mother . Her father married Ms. Tremaine, who had two daughters, Anastasia and Driselle. They were 14 and 15 years of age respectively.
- As Cindy's father had a pay-cut due to a merger of his company with another, Cindy was told to stop her education. They could not afford a maid, so Cindy had to do all the household chores, while the others lazed around.
- Cindy told her family members about her progress and that she was going abroad on scholarship for further studies. She assured her father that as she would be earning while learning, she would help him financially.
- Cindy's Godparents, who lived abroad, heard of her plight and decided to help her. They enrolled her for online education in one of the institutes there itself and paid for all her expenses, without the knowledge of Cindy's parents.
- Cindy could not attend school, but she learned a lot. She interacted with people of different cultures during her education. She studied during the little spare time that she had. She did so well, that she earned a scholarship for further studies.
